Parent Information

RMLA Each day is carefully planned to provide a balance of hands-on educational activities and play-based learning. We believe that play is an essential part of a child’s development, fostering creativity, imagination, and problem-solving skills. From engaging in age-appropriate lessons and creative projects to exploring science and physical education through tumbling. Your child will have a fun-filled day of discovery and growth at RMLA.

Accident and Injury

RMLA and its affiliates cannot and will not be held responsible for injuries sustained as a result of participating in any aspect of our program. While we make every effort to provide a safe environment for your child, accidents do happen. We will notify you of any accident or injury that we become aware of during class and call you immediately if we feel it is serious. You give RMLA permission to seek medical care and transportation for your child in case of emergency. You assume all risk of injury or harm to your child(ren) associated with the participation in Rocky Mountain Learning Academy and agree to release Rocky Mountain Learning Academy and forever discharge from all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs and causes of action.

Illness

Please do not bring your child to school if they are ill (this includes runny noses and coughs). We work extremely hard to maintain a safe, healthy, clean, and sanitized environment for all children, and it is very difficult to do so if we have sick children attending. If your child is dropped off ill, you will be called to come and immediately pick them up. We would like to thank you in advance for adhering to this policy.

Photo Release

RMLA uses photos taken in class or at school events for end of year class videos and other purposes. Please be aware that your student may be in these photos, and you are giving RMLA permission to use said photos.

Pick-up & Drop-off

Your child’s teacher will open this door when it is time for their class to begin. When class is over children will be released through the inside door to an authorized pick-up person. Please arrive on time to drop-off and pick-up your child. We understand that there are instances that will prevent you from being on time to pick-up your child and have implemented a 10-minute grace period. If your child is picked up more than 10 minutes late, your account will be charged a late pick-up fee of $10.00 plus $1.00 per additional minute.

Potty Policy

Potty accidents are common for young children. Even if your child has been potty trained for years, it is a good idea to be prepared. RMLA staff does not change diapers or go into the bathroom with children. If your child has a potty accident at school, they will need to be able to change themselves into clean clothes or the teacher can call you or a designated contact to come and change them. Please keep a change of clothes in a baggie in your child’s backpack that they may change into if needed.

Supply Fee

RMLA charges a yearly supply fee. This fee is due upon enrollment and is non-refundable. The fee covers basic supplies and snacks for each student.

Withdrawal

We require a 30-day written notice of withdrawal. If you need to withdraw your child, you will request, fill out and return the withdrawal form.

Tuition

Tuition is charged monthly from September 1st through May 1st. Tuition rates are based on the number of class days per year and divided into 9 equal payments.

 Tuition options:

Tuition will be automatically deducted from the checking account/credit card on file on the 1st of each month, unless you have made other arrangements. A $20 fee will be charged for return payments and payments made after the 1st. An additional $20 fee will be charged every 15 days late. Continual missed payments may affect your child’s ability to attend class.

Tumbling

Our tumbling program is considered an off-site activity. By participating in tumbling you are authorizing your child’s teacher to sign your child out of class to participate in their tumbling class and back in when tumbling is over.
